Best In Show at Basildon MRC Exhibition

What a fabulous start we had to our Model Railway Exhibition career

For a start it was an exceptionally hot day and we, just by luck, were positioned in the small hall that had Air Con (Result) We met so many lovely people, lots of great characters and made loads of new friends. It was quite a steep learning curve for us both but we did lean quite a lot about ourselves and the layout in the space of the two day show. The icing on the cake was of course winning "Best In Show" on our first time out. I suppose its all down hill from here LOl ;-)
